Presentation and resumption of proceedings (Standing Orders Nos. 57 and 80A)

The House of Commons presented and resumed proceedings to introduce a Bill for a railway between a junction with Phase 2a of High Speed 2 south of Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly Station, and a railway between Hoo Green and a junction with the West Coast Main Line at Bamfurlong. The Bill was read the First and Second time without Question put and committed to a Select Committee, to be printed with explanatory notes.
